Moises B. Palaroan (53), a Filipino priest who served at the St. William Catholic Church in Keystone Heights, Orange Park, Florida USA pled guilty on 31 December 2003 for stealing at least $400,000 from the church, and sent them to his mistress and children in the Philippines. He agreed to a one-year jail sentence as well as paying back the money he took. The missing money got found out when a routine audit was done in 2003.
